Thinking that he will not get a chance to choose a hidden ability soon, Brunos felt like pushing Valeria away. He wanted to scold her and tell her to never kiss him again. But he couldn't bring himself to letting another opportunity slide away. Though Valeria's kiss made him lose something valuable, he knew many men would kill to have such soft and damp lips kiss them. They had a value of their own.
That being the case, he closed his eyes and did a thing that no other human has ever done.
He reached for her neck and kissed her passionately. He had nothing else to lose for doing so. Why wouldn't he remind himself what it was like to have a succubus as your wife? He would have took things on another level if it wasn't for Valeria's retreat.
Why did she pull away? Did he do it in an immature way? He wouldn't blame himself though. He was only a 23-year old guy in a body of 223-years. But Valeria was also inexperienced. Though she was that old, she has only kissed once.
Instead of assumptions, he decided to ask. "What's wrong?"

Brunos laughed at himself before thanking her.
"Welcome!" After saying that, she turned around as if staring at Brunos was suffocating her, then while heading in the door's direction, she told Brunos to have some rest. That she would like to have him visiting her for a talk tomorrow. She had many questions she wanted answers for.
"Just send a servant to fetch me when you're free. I will come right away."
"Good night then!"

Brunos stared at her figure as she swayed out his room with lustful eyes and a throbing guy in his trousers. It's when she had almost disappeared, when he remembered to wish her a good night too.
'It's still dark. What should I do?'
"Choose ability," answered Dollian as if she had been waiting for his question.
"Haven't you told me it's over?"
"You had no intentions to let Valeria leave so I had to prank you so you can get angry and have her left."
Brunos chuckled. "Jealousy or..."
"Don't think highly of yourself. We need time to choose the perfect ability. The ability that can take us out of this mess soon or else we're doomed."
Tired of standing, Brunos walked to the bed while asking her why she was using we.
"Brunos, we're like a team," she answered. "The sooner you get strong, the sooner I get my freedom back. That's why I want nothing but a good performance from you."
"OK!" He said laying on his back. "Shall we choose then?"
The blue screen appeared in front of him, and while navigating it, a frown climbed his face as a liana. He had won 1060 Lust Leaves in the night quest and Valeria had given him some. Why were there only 860 Lust Leaves?
"Don't worry about that. I took them."
He was still confused. Why would she take them?
"To get my freedom, I'm supposed to gather some amount of Lust Leaves," she explained. "The more I show to my supervisors, the more points I get that I'm doing my job as supposed. Today you have won so much, so I had to take much."
Brunos didn't complain. He knew nothing life gave for free. He had to toil and earn then give some to her. Besides, her reason was reasonable. There was no need to get angry. It's even better to have what to pay for than have none.
"How much did you take?" He wanted to know how many Lust Leaves Valeria had given him.
"300!"
Brunos was stupefied. "Huh?"
"Yeah!" Dollian confirmed. "She really loves you. 100 Lust Leaves is a big deal. Maybe you don't understand because you don't know how valuable they are in this realm."
"Do they do any other thing beside serving as food?"
"It's written in front of you," she answered, irritation in her voice back. "Read!"

Brunos thought of something like Lust Leaves on earth, and found it to be money. With money, you can eat. You can buy any other thing you want, boost your status in the society and buy affection from fellow humans.
However, there was a slight difference. With Lust Leaves in your body, you cannot die of hunger. But with money, there is a possibility of dying. The affection bought by money is also not reliable.
His lips curled into a smile of satisfaction upon the realization. He then continued reading.

There wasn't any other thing in this tab, so he wandered his eyes searching for menu lines, and when he saw them, he blinked his eyes twice quickly like he once saw in a movie. To his surprise, the options came.

There were six options. Missions, abilities, special skills, notifications, store and possessions. Not knowing the difference between abilities and special skills, he click on them one at time.

He swiped his eyes across the abilities and found all of them to be familiar except Inspection. He blinked twice to see what it did.
Are you sure you want to choose inspection? There was a yes or no of course. Then the description. Inspection ability helps you to know the current levels and strengths of your enemies or those you want.
He thought it was quite awesome. Knowing stats of your enemy is good. But what can knowledge help you if you're weak. He didn't need something like this. He knew his enemies were strong. All he wanted was getting strong too.
He would rather choose mind reading or telepathy to know what was in the Petite's mind and communicate with her instead of choosing inspection.
Before he could close the tab, a mosquito or he thought so, came flying toward his eye. As a result, he blinked to block from entering.

"What the Fuck?" He felt like crying.
His eyes scanned the room to find the culprit, but he couldn't find it. Did he imagine things? He was sure he saw a mosquito.
'Whatever!' He internally cursed and moved to special skills tab.

The list was a bit long but reading wasn't a big deal to him.
1. Super Speed - You can move faster than the eye can see, able to appear and disappear in an instant.
This was confusing. Wasn't Super Speed among the abilities? Maybe it was system bugs. He ignored it and continued.
2. Enhanced Flight - You can fly at an invisible pace.
3. Super Strength - You can have greater strength than a human and able to lift a grown man with one hand.
4. Super Stamina - You can fight and make love vigorously without tire.
5. Kiss of Death - With this ability, you are able to steal life force energy from victims via a kiss. This action usually results in the death of ordinary humans when you are a newbie, but overtime, it can be controlled.
6. Healing Factor - The ability to fully heal from most wounds, including stabs.
7. Lust Empowerment - By having sexual intercourse, through stealing life force energy, you can grow stronger and heal faster.
He found many of abilities to work only when the opponent is a human. Now he could understand why these creatures were able to tempt humans so easily.
It wasn't also easy for him to choose. Many of them were good. Even the remaining ones like; shapeshifting, sexual Inducement, dream Walking and supernatural Beauty.
He skimmed over the list again before blinking twice at Super Speed. Without ability to fight, at least have the one to escape. It could even do both, so, compared to others on the list, it was the best.
There was nothing peculiar in the mission tab. After knowing that there were lifetime quests, night ones and randoms, and that he could win some gears or titles by completing them, he moved to notification tab.
He could see every thing was as he expected. You won this. You have to do this. Nothing was exciting except the last one.
