One by one the battles started and as this was happening, Fang Yang noticed something was wrong.
Although the battles still offered quite a spectacle and were able to excite the crowd with some hot-blooded fights, The battles simply didn't live up to his expectation.
This is not to say that these current fighters were weak by any means. If he wasn't unlucky enough to be placed in the same arena as Fang Yang he could have quite easily ranked amongst the final contestants and made it into the final and thus the outer sect.
The cultivator was just too unlucky!
