The Devil leaned in even closer, his breath hot on her face. "I have plans for you, Beatrice. Great plans. Plans that will make you the envy of all who know you," he whispered, his voice low and seductive.
Beatrice felt a shiver run down her spine. She knew that whatever plans the Devil had for her, they could not be good.
"What do you mean?" Beatrice's voice barely rose above a whisper as she looked at the Devil with a mixture of fear and confusion.
"Stopped with this kind of nonsense!" she suddenly screamed, her tone now filled with desperation.
"I don't want to follow you to hell! I don't want to become a demon myself! Let me go!" Beatrice pleaded, trying to free herself from the Devil's grip.
