Beatrice took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down. "I-I'm sorry, Your Majesty. I am just a bit overwhelmed with all of this information," she said, trying to steady her voice.
The Queen gave her a sympathetic smile. "It's alright, my dear. Just because your story reminded me of that book doesn't necessarily mean that you have been cursed. It's just a coincidence," she reassured Beatrice.
Beatrice felt relieved to hear that. She didn't want to believe that she was cursed, but the thought had been plaguing her mind ever since she heard about it.
"May I borrow the book, Your Majesty?" she asked tentatively, hoping to learn more about the curse and possibly find a way to break it.
The Queen hesitated for a moment before gently shaking her head. "I'm sorry, my dear. I don't want you to worry and become anxious about everything. The book is better left unread," she said, her voice soft and kind.
