Chapter 70 - Intruder

Sheila walked in and arrived at a massive room where the 3 were being kept.

This place was originally a large warehouse that was used to make paper. However, the factory had been moved to the 2nd quadrant after finding success in the job. There was also a better water source high up, so this place had been emptied for quite a while.

Sheila looked at the 3 that had been sitting in the middle of the open room, with their heads bowed in what she could only call shame. Two of those 3 were men in their early 40s, with the final woman in her late 30s.

All of 3 of the people that had gone to see the mayor's speech had been suspiciously quiet about it after returning.

When asked what they the others had missed, they wouldn't speak about it at all or try to dismiss it.

"You three, tell me what happened with the mayor, or I will consider you all colluding with the mayor," Sheila spoke with her altered voice.

"Nothing truly happened, boss."
