A few days passed since the Mayor's speech with not much happening at all. However, on the 5th day, a man in hooded clothing came to the Defenders' headquarters late at night to talk to them.
10 minutes later, the man left without being seen, disappearing into the deep night.
10 minutes later, a Defender walked out from the same place and made his way up the town to go to the Mayor's mansion.
The mayor walked out to the front to take the small stack of papers that was just brought to him. He quickly flipped through it in the little light that was on the outside and smiled.
"Finally, took them some fucking time," the Mayor thought and quickly walked into his mansion.
He had expected the people to bring the information over quickly. However, it had taken them nearly 5 whole days to bring all the information.
