Sheila was not affected by anything. Not by the attacks, not by the man's powers. Nothing.
She could move up to the Space Nova, and place her hands on him if she wanted to without any worry. But she wasn't able to touch him. It was almost as if she was a ghost, passing through an ethereal plane that no one could interact with.
But, that was not all that she could do.
She didn't understand a lot of what was happening, but she did understand that her powers had evolved. And with that evolution had come something she hadn't expected.
Her powers had split apart, becoming two.
She was curious at first as to why she had two powers, but it made some sense when she thought about it in the way that she always had two powers.
The power to conceal herself. And the power to conceal whoever she touched.
