A grading system for sorcerers but a rather unorganized one.
In the first place, what makes someone more powerful? Larger mana capacity? Better techniques? Better element? More intelligence? Experience? The person's importance? Talents?
The answer unsurprisingly lies in a combination of the traits one excells at, combination of traits are hard to divide in a linear fashion, as such- the grading system wasn't perfect, but it was better than nothing.
After starting training, it went like this-
• 0th Order - "Foundation establishment" which was someone just starting on their paths to power. It went on in 3 stages. Starts when one gains the ability to sense mana.
-"Mana Flow" - The stage when someone can do basic mana manipulation and be able to get a good flow of it.
-"Ability Awakening"- The first evolution where one gets their ability
-"Condensation Stage" - The stage where someone is able to evolve their mana core, which allows it to store liquid mana inside for moments when their domain is out of mana (usual mana is gaseous )
These stages can be done in any order and the second one isn't necessary.
• 1st Order - "Foundation Stage" is reached when all the above stages are completed and marks the start of a sorcerer's path to power - apprentice sorcerers.
• 2rd Order - "Multi-Spell Stage" - the stage when one is able to engrave 6 spells and increases other skills. Sorcerers of this stage are called adept sorcerers. No concrete baseline to say if one is 2nd order.
• 3rd Order - "Evolution Insight"- stage where the sorcerer evolve the quality of their mana and gain 'insights' on their domain and spirit. They have a little grasp of their concept. Such sorcerers are called Enlightened Sorcerer or Intermediate Sorcer. They can improve their concept over time before advancing to Fourth order.
The above mentioned stages are not concrete so it's possible to be flexible i.e. a first order sorcerer could have something that is better than even a third grade sorcerer but still not be considered third grade. From Fourth Order, Sorcerers are qualitatively better.
• 4rth Order - "Master Sorcerer" -the stage where mana evolves qualitatively and one is able to manipulate energy very fluidly like an extension of their limbs. It is the second evolution where one gains the ability to use their concept ability (only once after which they need to recover).
• Fifth Order Demigod (Demigod)- The sorcerers are able to bring out their inner domain however it possesses no ability but only buffs the user a little but is very mana costly so it isn't something which is used a lot. They have their concepts formed completely and can be used multiple times a day. Their technique/ability, mana manipulation and mental energy skills reach their peak (for most)
• 6th Order Zenith Grade (Calamity/Demigod) - Can manifest their inner world in reality and use the abilities that come with it completely, Their concepts reach the peak and can possibly evolve.
Note- In the earlier grades, the power difference in lower and higher grades isn't that apparent and is more of a skill based competition. From Master Sorcerer and above- the gap is so large that the grades can actually be definite of a winner.
