"Looks like the holding area... I can't believe the ground beneath us simply collapsed as we were scaling the mountain. This isn't ordinary stone," the Seer remarked, surveying the cave filled with dusty and old prison cells.
"But it did," the Seer added, his eyes scanning the surroundings. The layer of dust was thick, cobwebs hung everywhere, and most cell doors were jammed, the bars bent or rusted.
"Doesn't seem to have been used in a long time," Ling Yue noted, running one of her fingers across the wooden benches, picking up a thick layer of dust.
"Well, at least we are inside," the Seer spoke with optimism. "We just have to go up now. Security is bound to be less of a challenge inside, given the base is inside an actual active volcano," he continued, pushing open the massive steel door. The door creaked and cracked as it slowly opened.
