"Well, Cao Tang, got room for another on that sword?"
"No," Cao Tang nodded, sending the seer into a state of deep thought for a moment.
"Well, I have a teleportation scroll to get me to the western gate, so there should be no problems," the old guy explained, waving around a scroll.
"The west gate is shut down and under construction," said Cao Tang.
"Yes, the western city gate is currently all rubble; you'll have to walk along the walls for hours to reach the southern gate..." the seer stated, still in thought. "Well, can't help it, give me the scroll; I'll teleport you. Go along with Cao Tang on the sword, meet up with your buddy, and get started."
Before the other two could respond, the seer snatched and tore off the scroll, vanishing in violet flames and appearing atop some broken rubble beside the crashed city walls and deserted horse stalls, and vast empty grassy plains.
"And here along the walls, I walk for hours on end..."
