A fleeting trace of desolation passed through Lu Si's eyes. "Be my girlfriend. Then, it's only natural for me to treat you well, and you won't need to repay me for anything."
Mei Shu squinted at him, a faint smile playing on her lips. "What is it that you like about me, exactly?"
"Must one be specific about what they like in someone?" Lu Si replied, his voice full of emotion.
Love should be irrational, after all.
Mei Shu, however, didn't buy it. "If liking someone is entirely without reason, I would rather believe that such affection is merely a delusion."
