Caspian gave a chuckle, but he clenched his hand tightly as he held back the sickness I felt. After a while, it subsided, causing him to sigh in relief.
As they remained seated in the living room, conversing with each other, there was a sudden knock on the door. Everyone then glanced at the door, and Natalie stood up, heading straight for it.
After peeking into the peephole, Natalie was able to confirm who they were. She then turned around and nodded with a smile, "They're the reinforcements. We should be able to plan out everything now."
