Caspian then arrived outside the laboratory and, with a knock, entered it with no hesitation. Scarlet immediately turned her head to face Caspian and smiled lightly while Lisa, on the side, seemingly observed Caspian with intensely sharp eyes.
The gaze was so obvious, so of course, Caspian immediately noticed it but paid it no heed. He just tilted his head lightly and greeted her with a wave. "Hello, Lisa. It's been a while."
Lisa simply nodded as she smiled back while saying, "Hello, Detective. Yeah, it has been. You were in an accident, right?"
"Yeah. Thankfully, I already recovered," Caspian was getting tired of repeating the same phrase over and over, but he had no choice but to deal with it. Caspian then turned his head toward Scarlet and said, "Hello, Scarlet. So, where's the victim?"
"He's right here, Caspian," Scarlet said with a solemn face while pointing at something covered in cloth. Caspian immediately nodded and took a closer look as Scarlet removed the cloth.
