"Why does your child have the blood of a saint?" the saintess said in an ushering voice.
Grace was astounded by that fact. She then gazed at the saintess with confusion in her eyes. "What do you mean by that, saintess?"
"When I removed the curse from your child earlier, his body contained a certain amount of saint blood within it. However, that blood… I didn't find any traces of it when I blessed him."
Grace was speechless the entire time the saintess spoke. Then, she thought of something she didn't think would ever cross her mind. "Was… Marcus… was he a half-blood?"
"That can't be possible. I have checked him multiple times before, and he had no traces of any supernatural blood, nor was there a trace of supernatural ability."
"Wait… now that I think about it, Caspian supplied Naida with supernatural energy as she ascended into the Demonic Saint race… do you think that it had something to do with him having saint blood?"
