As they arrived at the station, Caspian immediately headed to his office and started finishing all the remaining documents that he still hadn't compiled. During the process, Detective Marshall, or as Caspian would've called him, Hector, came in to transfer some work over, causing Caspian to sigh in exasperation.
Scarlet also came and brought some reports about some murders. Caspian couldn't help but feel uneasy since all of the cases were regular homicides rather than all of those weird, supernaturally involved cases.
"We haven't really interacted that much after those murder cases, right?" Scarlet asked as she leaned against the sofa.
"That's true. I've been trying to finish up this shit. Then earlier, Detective Marshall just went ahead and dumped more work for me to finish," Caspian smiled wryly while pointing at the stacked folders.
Scarlet giggled a bit after hearing Caspian's words. After a while, she asked, "I never thought I'd see you be late."
