"*Cough* Yeah… what the fuck happened?" He said as he forced himself to sit. He then wiped the saliva from his mouth and touched the stinging pain he felt on his neck. He felt two holes and saw that Caspian had managed to pierce through his green scales. "How did he pierce through my scales!?"
Suddenly, he froze, causing him to grit his teeth as he grunted, "V…vampire ve—nom…!"
"Shit!" the man, who was still able to move, quickly grabbed his ally and relocated him elsewhere. "Stay here first. You have to get rid of that venom quickly!"
The other man nodded despite struggling, a troubled expression on his face. Before they could do anything, they suddenly heard footsteps. It wasn't loud, but each step caused pressure to build upon them. They then gazed in the direction of the noise and saw Caspian.
