Right before Abby came into the room, Caspian's eyes were glowing brightly as his mind was injected with knowledge and information that he never knew of. The figurine acted as if the forbidden apple Adam and Eve ate; it granted him great knowledge.
What he learned was a great amount of supernatural knowledge, what the ring was, and why he should find similar artifacts disguised as regular everyday objects to contain the beings trapped within.
