Michael looked at her in shock as if he didn't recognize her. That woman had changed, but he doesn't know when or why it happened. He hadn't noticed how much of a blind man he had been. The adorable young lady from before, who used to smile tenderly and shyly was no more. Now, instead of her, was a terrible woman, a power-hungry woman.
Samara smirked. "You have something that I want, you better give it to me quickly and no one will get hurt."
"What are you talking about? Cut your nonsense and get out of here!"
"Ha... a half-vampire, half-human like you can't order me around anymore, it's ridiculous. I've only been close to you because of your connection to Lord Tark, but that's running out. Now give me the treasure Lord Tark conferred you to hide. I want it now!"
