Diana walked across the deck until she reached Helsing. The man seemed fascinated watching the port approaching.
"Michael found out we're here for Kian. I told him you knew."
Helsin agreed. "It was easy to deduce, I didn't expect him to take so long. But don't worry, nothing will happen, even if he knows it, he won't do anything."
He now felt more relieved. He knew that Kian won't be easy prey for any clan, nor a vampire, besides, he seemed to be on that ship on purpose. That man was looking for something important, something that will help his wife, and maybe he could help him find it.
He felt as if he was now working for a god. That was an extraordinary feeling.
Diana frowned at the stupid easygoing face of that man. While she was worried, he was taking everything cool. "It won't be easy to get into the clan's main quarters, Michael suspects, and… he has discovered the vial of blood. He doesn't know where it is from but..."
