Gabriel agreed. "Take care of him then, he can't stay alive... and... you..." he turned to look at Diana.
Diana nodded without looking at him. "I have time yet..."
"Not much," Gabriel said with no expression on his face. "Next time I see you, I'll kill you."
He turned around and left. When he heard the monster's growl he immediately went back to reception. Even if he was on vacation, or furloughed, his duty to protect humans came first.
Vampires could be reasoned with, monsters couldn't, so he had no choice but to kill any monster who appeared in front of him. However, it seems that he did not need to do it alone.
