A shot rumbled through the room, the bullet coming out of that silver pistol jabbed directly near the window. "If you don't want to die, you'd better go, Mrs. Hart. Your husband is already dead if any of the mercenaries find him. At least I'll give him a quick and an easy death."
"And if I don't go, what will you do?" Eve replied with a little smirk while standing in front of Kian. Not moving a bit.
The woman raised a brow surprised, and lowered her gun with a loud sigh. "Don't play brave or martyr, Mrs. Hart. Just go and live your life..."
"No… he is my life," she literally wanted to say. If Kian died, she would fall asleep in a terrible coma for years. And she wouldn't know what will happen to her body.
