Allan observed the new era, the world was very different from the one he remembered. There were more sophisticated cars than before, even machines for flying and navigating the skies transporting hundreds of passengers. Phones that could be carried around in a tiny pocket, and that have more technology than thousands of machines a hundred years ago.
Medicine was also very advanced. There were techniques that he had never seen in his life, medicines, pills, and treatments. No one seemed to die for the same thing as before. Wars, battles, weren't the same anymore either. Though, the reasons for war were the same.
He never thought that the world would go so far in such a short time. A hundred years…
Every time he walked the streets, he was a little more surprised. The food wasn't the same either, now they sold it in little plastic bags at bright stalls on the corner of every block. It was amazing.
