A great roar was heard in the air, rumbling like an echo, pounding like a blast of power on the great windows and stone walls. Everything seemed to shake, and perhaps soon the roar would bring down the splendid chandelier suspended from the ceiling.
However, none of the beings in the room seemed to care, except for one.
"Dad!" Xavier tried to get up but the two guards held him back and didn't let him move. "Let me go!"
The man who was called his father, and the one he had followed his entire life, no longer had the same face as before. There was no elegance in his facial features, his body hunched over and enlarged with muscle springing out of nowhere and ripping through his shirt.
He kept growling and yelling as he was engulfed in pain at the disgusting transformation.
