Rico hears Zindee give the news about Xalroz being alive after leaving some of his goons to try and kill him. They had not accomplished such a task, resulting in their deaths instead.
"I see. I had a feeling they had no choice, but I had to show a bit of my power," Rico says, being someone who isn't upset or pretty much bothered about losing those goons as he drinks from his glass cup.
"Well, he killed most of them and allowed only two to live, leaving that tavern some sort of way for those guys to return to you in shame. I know you're the type of person who doesn't have room for failure, so I went on to take care of them."
"Let us guess you use that dagger to slit their throats without a blink of an eye."
Alfreda steps in to add her voice to the conversation, which Zindee dislikes but keeps from saying something about it by her boss' order.
