Johan gives his compliment to the young man Valgard believing that this boy is going to do great things in the future just like his father before the man chooses the life of a simple boat building.
A reason for that is a personal matter he would not spill to anyone that is risking themselves to gain his anger and possibly a power fist to the face.
"You think that Johan can." That way of Valgard talking was quite the not normal behavior.
"What up with that response Valgard makes it sound as if you don't think you can achieve such things." Johan got up and grabbed the meat cooking by the fire.
The meat was stabbed by a stick kept at the end of the campfire so it can cook for a time there.
"I know I can, but to do so there are going to be sacrifices," Valgard told him.
"Oh yeah, what kind are you talking about from the way you make it sound," Johan asked while biting at the hot cooked meat.
