The man looked at their faces for a moment before turning his attention down to the pot, hiding his expression from them.
"...How did he die?"
"He…" Azalea began to speak, but hesitated. Should she tell the truth, or embellish his death? Make it seem more dignified than it actually was…
"Amir died without being able to put up a fight," Mikhail said with clenched fists.
Azalea looked over to him, appalled by his brutal honesty. But, she didn't speak out against his decision.
It was in his hands now.
There was an uneasy silence for a time, but Mikhail could feel the rage brewing in the man's heart.
