It was Segundadia, the second day of the week. So far, it had been a day like any other for Mikhail and his beast companion Sharyl.
Wake up. Study. Train. Train some more.
At this point, Mikhail would be going home to eat a quick snack before going out into the wilds to hunt. As a matter of fact, Mikhail was almost home right now.

"People of the tribe! Gather in the clearing!"
Mikhail's walk back home came to a halt.
Grand Elder Maya's voice had just boomed throughout the tribe. This was… Unusual.
"...Well, so much for hunting. Come on, Sharyl."
Mikhail turned heel and began making his way back to the tribe's central clearing.
And Sharyl scuttled casually on the ground by his side.
In the past three months, the little lizard had grown quite a bit. To the size of a monitor lizard back in Mikhail's old world.
