Upon stepping through the rift in reality, Mikhail and Sharyl found themselves surrounded by the rest of the group, standing at the edge of the expansive flatlands surrounding the Tall Crown Sanctum.
A short distance away, a translucent purple barrier could be seen.
Curious about the appearance of that barrier, Sharyl made his way over to tap it with his claw.
A small, uncomfortable bolt of purple lightning lashed out at the big guy, causing him to snort before making his way back to the group.
While Sharyl had been doing that, a group of young Pneuma had approached.
"Ah, humans!"
It was a large group of Mermen, their colorful scales looking dull. A telltale sign that it had been a while since they were last submerged underwater.
"Hey, do you guys see the purple barrier?" Valeria asked, using their language. It surprised them, and they were quick to derail Valeria's question by asking heaps of their own questions.
