Mikhail snaked through the dungeon with Sharyl, murdering scores of different types of plants without remorse. With no signs of intelligent life, he couldn't feel sorry for them in the slightest for being in his way.
On the way down to the first rising pillar, Mikhail got himself another spell scroll and two specks of Heavenly Ichor, further strengthening his body.
Which raised a question after the third time. Was he making progress through the Martial Realm with the help of these specks, or was his strength increasing without progress through the subminor realm?
Either scenario was fine, but the idea that he was growing stronger without progressing was a weird one. So, he'd ask Grand Elder Maya about it. Or maybe someone else like Atticus. Figuring that out wasn't really that high on his list of priorities anyway, at the moment.
Meanwhile, the spell scroll was something Mikhail could actually use!
