Everyone quickly returned to the safety of the wooden ground.
Mog seemed confused about the sudden retreat, but everyone else had their eyes focused on the fiercely undulating waves of the vibrantly glowing green pool. They had all felt the sudden surge in ethereal fear.
The biggest threat in that room was about to unveil itself to them!
SPLASH!
A gigantic slug rose from the glowing pool. Its skin seemed to writhe subtly, tremors running through its surface constantly. The two stalks supporting its eyes were aimed at them, their bulbous tops reminiscent of the two monstrous plants.
And just like them, they were split into five segments. Which all flung open at once, revealing the slug's vibrant green eyes.
However, it was a silent beast. It looked at them with ill intent that made their feelings of ethereal fear flare to life in its direction. But it didn't seem to do anything…
During that silence, Mikhail's mind went blank.
