"But we must!" Mikhail said while pumping his right fist.
"No way, we can't just waste this!" Azalea said, clutching the key against her chest-plate.
Mikhail let out a sigh of exasperation.
Azalea looked at him with an expression of ire.
"Give me that, damn it!"
"No!" Azalea clung to the key. "We can't!"
Mikhail looked to the large treasure chest past Azalea. It was smooth, and it stood on four curled legs made of rocky gold. And within the confines of that rocky gold outline, some sort of teal rock could be seen.
It was locked shut by two intersecting chains that wrapped around it, and a lock mechanism. Just like the door he had opened before. Yet, despite having the means to open it, Azalea refused, thinking that this was some sort of test in regards to greed.
That they would be trapped if Mikhail let treasure blind him. And he would've had the same thought under normal circumstances…
