Mikhail, Azalea, and Sharyl looked at the sight before them with a pit in their stomach.
The Tower was right in front of them. So close that they could make out the individual and nearly theatrical architectural elements of it. The rows upon rows of corinthian pillars that lined The Tower's surface, supporting platforms where one could stand.
Platforms that were probably gigantic rings, stretching all around The Tower.
The majestic archways connect each and every one of them, supporting the ringular platforms.
Giant runes that decorated all the would-be empty walls behind them, moving across the glistening black stone chaotically.
It looked like a wall of architectural art, encompassing the entire horizon in front of them. A black wall that put a stop between them and the rest of the world. Unimaginably large in scale. Awe-inspiringly big.
Majestic.
But there was an issue.
