Mikhail stirred from his slumber.
He could feel the intense pain that every little jostle caused.
He could feel a dastardly thirst for water.
And most importantly, Mikhail could hear the sound of a waterfall in the distance.
'Hm… I guess two days of rest should be good enough.'
Mikhail sat up with a grimace and pulled the enchanted waterskin off his belt, unscrewing its cap before drinking greedily from it. Drinking until it was completely empty once again.
He looked down as the inscription on its surface lit up, revealing that the magical runes were getting to work.
'Alaya was right, a waterskin that can refill itself is a boon unlike any other…'
However, he had learnt the hard way that the light the inscription produced as they worked to refill the waterskin was enough of a disruption to garner the attention of several beasts.
