Faced with the uncertainty, Mikhail grit his teeth angrily.
On one hand, he could end up running towards a wall, and he would be able to orient himself again. On the other hand, he could end up going North, and not even need to orient himself.
And then, lastly, he could end up going south.
If that last option happened, he would face certain doom by wasting precious time.
BOOM! CRACK!
The tentacles drew near again.
'...Fuck it! I'll only waste an hour trying to find the wall at worst. I need to get out of here first!'
Mikhail grunted angrily as he applied an intense amount of force into his right leg, and then began his sprint away. Now, his steps were truly echoing throughout the ravine's empty expanse.
The Brittle Star immediately began following the sound of his steps, and for a time, Mikhail worried about it being able to catch up.
However, in what felt like no time at all, the external fear grew faint.
