Mikhail's eyes shot open, and he quickly looked around.

Up to down.
Back and forth.
And after a few short moments, the sudden tension in his body dispersed as he released a sigh.
Recalling his last conscious moments, he couldn't help but come to the conclusion that he had died.
"So… This is the afterlife?"
He turned his body around, a full three hundred sixty degrees, but he could not see anything. Mikhail was floating in an empty void, with no clothes covering his body.
'Man… I hate it when my hair falls in front of my face like this.'
He began to make the motion to move that hair out of his way, but suddenly, the locks of hair began floating on their own, as if he had suddenly ended up under water.
The rest of his hair was also affected by that sudden change, and silver sparkles flew off his hair before dissipating into the void.
