The legend of the Witch Queen does not end with her making all who cross her path her servants and bow before her. Later in life, she learns of an emotion called love and meets seven fellow witches who teach her about mutual understanding and compassion. Together, they create a new form of contract in which they will have a mutual bond for all eternity, with their souls forever linked together. No matter how many times the Witch Queen is reborn as one of her descendants or how many times the seven witches' souls are reborn into different bodies over time, they will be together forever. The Witch Queen will continue to receive mana from witches, and the seven witches will continue to receive eternal lifespan to stay with the Witch Queen's incarnations for all eternity.
Emily's Point of View
"The little bitch didn't even see me coming, it seems. Hahaha!" The Hulking Wizard's words sliced through the air, filled with arrogance and malice.
"May! You bastard!" I shouted, my voice laced with anger and worry.
The Hulking Wizard turned his attention towards me, a sinister grin spreading across his face. "Aren't you the girl we've been looking for? You're sure a looker. Hopefully, you can put up a better fight than the little missy over there," he taunted, his voice dripping with disdain.
"Don't mock May! Oh, Wind, grant me a powerful force that cuts all in my way, Wind Blade!" I called upon the elements, channeling my magic into a fierce attack.
But the Hulking Wizard quickly countered, invoking his own magic. "Nice try. Oh, Earth, grant me a mighty frame, Physical Enhancement: Defensive!" A shimmering aura enveloped his massive figure, bolstering his defenses.
"Aaargh, my shoulder, it still cut into me. Hahaha, no wonder you are called the young Witch of Legend. Help me out here, boys, this is going to be fun!" The Hulking Wizard laughed, reveling in the pain inflicted upon him.
"You got it, boss!" Grunt Wizard A and B replied eagerly, joining the fray on their leader's command.
But before I could fully assess the situation, an unfamiliar voice interjected, halting the escalating battle. "I don't think so. You two can deal with me!"
I turned my gaze, astonished to see my mother standing there, her presence both surprising and comforting. "Mother, what are you doing here? You're ill?" I asked, concern etched in my voice.
My mother's eyes gleamed with determination as she explained, "The God of Magic appeared in my dreams and told me everything: about your previous life, your destiny, your wish, and you and May coming here. He gave me enough energy to deal with grunts and last until you can make the medicine. However, I could only heal May a little. You need to hurry and defeat this asshole and save my future daughter-in-law. Got it."
"Hehe, yes, Mother," I replied, a mix of emotions flooding my heart. Gratitude for my mother's sacrifice intertwined with the urgency to protect May.
"Good. Fufufu, now Grunt A, Grunt B, you two can get wrecked by the Witch of the East, Klare Clark!" My mother's voice rang with authority, her words carrying an air of power.
"We're dead," Grunt A and B replied in unison, their confidence replaced by fear.
The Hulking Wizard sneered, his arrogance undeterred. "Well, well, I can deal with you without my grunts then. Mommy won't save you now, little girl," he taunted, underestimating the strength before him.
"Who are you calling little? Oh, Wind, form a spiral that mows down all that is in its path. Oh, Flame, form a pillar that burns all that is in its way. Combination magic: Flaming Tornado," I declared, summoning the forces of wind and fire to unleash a devastating attack.
Caught off guard, the Hulking Wizard had no time to cast a defensive spell. The swirling tornado of flames engulfed him, reducing him to nothing but ash, vanquishing his presence.
"Huh, huh, May! I hope I have enough mana left to help her," I muttered, my breath ragged from the intense battle.
"Emily, did you get the ingredient?" May's weak voice reached my ears, concern lacing her words.
"I did, all thanks to you. However, that doesn't matter right now. I will help you. Oh, divine, please shine your light upon this poor soul and heal what ails them. Divine Healing," I called upon the divine energy, pouring my remaining mana into a healing spell.
But to my dismay, it didn't seem to have the desired effect. Frustration welled up within me. "It's not working. Damn it. Is there anything I can do?" I questioned, my desperation evident.
"There is one thing," the God of Magic's voice resonated within my mind, drawing my attention.
"God of Magic! What is it? I will do anything if I can save the girl I love!" I exclaimed, my voice filled with determination.
The God of Magic revealed his plan, indicating that he needed to speak to May in private. Confusion mingled with hope, I nodded, trusting in his guidance. "Ah, very well, I shall," I replied, my curiosity piqued.
As the God of Magic and my mother withdrew to grant May and me privacy, I held her close, feeling a mix of emotions swirling within me. Uncertainty mingled with love as the next series of events unfolded.
"Now, I need you two to vow your feelings to one another, then kiss and bite each other on the nape of the neck enough to break skin. Emily, you will absorb the mana from May, and May, you will absorb some of Emily's eternal life force. I will explain the rest after you two are done," the God of Magic instructed.
With a surge of love and devotion, I declared my feelings to May, vowing to cherish her for eternity. We shared a deep kiss, sealing our commitment to one another. Then, as instructed, we bit each other's necks, a gesture that bound us together in a profound and unbreakable bond.
A warm, euphoric sensation washed over us, and we felt an inexplicable closeness, as if our souls had become entwined. As the bond solidified, the God of Magic stepped forward, ready to share the next phase of our journey.
"Are you two finished? If so, why don't you go ahead and create your mother's medicine since you should have enough mana now, and I will prepare to show you the legend that your nickname is from..." the God of Magic trailed off, leaving us with a sense of anticipation and wonder.
