As the morning sunlight gently filtered through the curtains, Mano slowly opened her eyes, only to be greeted by an intense throbbing pain coursing through her body. Every inch of her being seemed to ache, as if she had been through a physical ordeal. Confusion clouded her mind as she tried to recall the events of the previous night.
Oh! How could she have forgotten, last night she and Linton had.. Argh! It was even more embarrassing for her to even think about it.
She did know what had gotten into her. She just felt like only the warmth of him could could channel the pain she felt yesterday.
With a groan, Mano attempted to sit up, wincing at the sharp twinges of discomfort shooting through her muscles. She gingerly scanned the room, hoping to find solace in the familiar presence of Linton.
However, to her dismay, he was nowhere to be found. The empty space beside her only deepened her sense of unease.
