Unaware of the red sports car tailing them, Desiree pressed hard on the accelerator and the car zoomed smoothly through the express.
Amber was having the time of her life. She had never had so much fun and the thrill of defying Draco made her body hum with excitement.
However, she sat up when she saw that they had left the busy city behind and were now heading deeper into the country road.
There were few houses on this side of the country road, and tall trees flanked the road on both sides. Behind those tall trees was a deep forest, the forest that surrounded the entire city.
Amber had heard of it, but she had never ventured into this side of the city.
"Aren't we there yet?",she asked Desiree, a tinge of worry laced in her voice.
"Almost",Desiree smiled reassuringly at her. "Jamie lives just down this road. See, there's his house. The one with the red roof"
