"Last night, you said there's a kid that I'm going to babysit tonight? Is he still going to show up? Actually, I think it'll be a good thing if he doesn't. I'm kind of feeling too lazy to keep watch on any kid right now. I don't even have my own kid yet" Max reminded Arthur about the babysitting job they both talked about last night.
He paused the video game to ask him about it because it was kind of important. If this kid fails to make an appearance here tonight, then does it mean that he won't be able to stay for three more days as he and Arthur had agreed on yesterday?
Arthur made it clear that he would get to stay if only he babysits the kid tonight. However, where the hell is even the kid needed to be babysitting?
"If the kid doesn't show up tonight, you'll be leaving first thing tomorrow, Max. Don't forget about our deal. I actually think that you should pray he shows up" Arthur grabbed his phone to check if Ellie had called yet.
