Xadia's heart had started to beat faster as the energy in his body was somewhat decreasing until it had finally gone, making Xadia come to.
It was at that moment, as if someone had hit a gong, that the memories of the fight with Tyson rang in his head, it felt as if his brain was warping and Xadia was clenching his fist bearing through the pain. once the pain was over, Xadia finally remembered what had happened.
Looking at his body, the bruises and cuts from the purple energy tentacle looked to have healed up as there was no scratch or stab marks on his body.
Looking at the room an unconscious Tyson lay on the floor propping to the wall, confirming Xadia's elusive memories.
The room remained the same with no damage done to the wall and Xadia wondered what the metal material for the wall was made from. It had somehow withstood the chaos that occurred in the room.
"There's something wrong with him, the look in his eyes, it looked like he wanted to kill me, should I report him to the counselor?". "No, I shouldn't, that would put him in trouble, he would be assumed dangerous and expelled from the school." Xadia thought obligated to protect his new friend.
Moving to where Tyson was Xadia lifted him and placed him on his bed, after staying awake for some time watching Tyson, Xadia made his way to his bed exhausted from the fight early on.
Surprisingly Xadia had woken up early enough to take his bath and get dressed into new uniforms, soon Xadia moved to Tyson's side as it looked as if he was waking up from his trance.
"Xadia?" Tyson's quickly face changed as memories flooded his brain, saddened by the fact that he had attacked Xadia.
"I...". "it's okay I'm alright". Xadia said not allowing Tyson to finish his word. "I know it wasn't you, did you possibly think that I'd start to avoid you?
Tyson didn't say anything and just moved his head down, not uttering a single word.
"Tell me about it, is that orb your familiar?"
"Yes". Tyson innocently said
"Your eyes, it was glowing dark purple".
"It's not the first time, it started on the day you came to school, I kept having strange thoughts like slitting your throat and drinking you dry, my familiar is a siphoned amoeba, it had grown in strength after absorbing energies from its former habitat in the earth, thus making it that big, it gets stronger with every blood and energy it absorbs.
"It seemed like it was reacting to your ability, I started to lose consciousness every time I was around you, waking up with bullies beaten up almost to death and absorbing their blood, it was like it was preparing for a battle with you, I think it had absorbed a lot and was ready for you and I couldn't control it.
"Do you have a familiar too?" Tyson asked.
Thinking about it Tyson's case seemed similar to his own, as he was losing consciousness to a powerful force.
"If I had a familiar I would be able to summon it out and use it right?, well that's not the case for me, I can't do that and I don't hear any voices in my head, I'm not passive, I don't know what I am, I just woke up one day with the same thing happening to me. But the energy only takes over me when I feel scared or when I'm beating badly or knocked out in a fight"
"I've never heard of that before but that's something considering the fact that a level 1 beat me up," Tyson said trying to lighten up the mood.
"Don't go outside today, stay inside so you can heal, and I can't take you to the infirmary, you'd react to the patients, I'll try to find a way to help you, maybe a spell or a potion will help". Xadia explained.
"You can go to Ivy, she's the highest level emitter in our class, she could help," Tyson said as Xadia was heading for the door. "Xadia!!, thank you" and with that, Xadia left the room.
Xadia had decided to go to the cafeteria shop, he had finished his last currell pack yesterday and was wondering if the cafeteria would have.
Arriving at the shop, it looked like a mall as there were different types of delicacies in containers displayed on shelves and Xadia had found what he was looking for as he could see a shelf labeled packs.
And stocking up close to thirty Currell packs in a shopping basket as he headed for the counter, after scanning all the Currell packs with a holo top, the price was five thousand credits and Xadia was asked to put his hand with his power watch on a holo screen paying for the packs.
Looking at the credits now, Xadia noticed that it displayed a hundred and twenty-seven credits as the school had been sending a hundred credits every day as the food allowance, and afterward, Xadia left the shop for class.
The lesson went smoothly as Mr. Harper finished early after explaining the habitat of the said plant the class was researching about.
It was now time for the second lesson and Xadia had made his way to the alchemy class following Ivy waiting for the chance to talk to her.
The alchemy class building could also be called a greenhouse as the building was a transparent glass-like building; with plants in water glasses grown by energy crystals.
At the corner of the room was a desk stationed in front of a holo board, and there were strange symbols and drawing on it, to the side of the holo board was a shelf filled with books that had rune symbols on all of them, it was the emitters side of the class.
A big large wide hover table was stationed at the center of the room, on the table were beakers, centrifuges, retort, tripod stands, filters, and Liebig condensers. They looked to be used to produce potions, as the teacher was already demonstrating how to separate the energy from siphon plants using simple distillation.
Placing the pieces of broken siphon plant and dust crystals in the distillation beaker, a thermometer for perfect temperature above it, the flask was being boiled in the beaker atop the tripod stand on the retort stand with a clamp holding on to it.
Soon the liquid properties were sipping through the Liebig condenser and dropping into the conical flask, hence the practical was completed.
Soon the students began to practice what they had seen their teacher do including Xadia.
In the middle of practicing the siphon plant energy distillation, Ivy walked up to Xadia.
"Xadia have you seen Tyson, I haven't seen him in class in two days, is he alright," Ivy asked.
"He's fine,uhm he asked me to ask something from you about a suppression spell on a potion". Xadia lied wondering if it would spark an idea on Ivy.
"A suppression spell? Is he trying to suppress his power or something, I know Tyson asking about a suppression spell is unorthodox, he would have come to me Instead, he's lying". Ivy thought placing her hand on her chin.
"A suppression spell, yes I can do that but I'll be needing ingredients and it would be after the lesson, do you have a place where you would keep the potion".
Thinking about a particular object, it had appeared in his hand, it was the artifact he had made yesterday in the construction class, it was a glowing amulet.
Giving the object to Ivy, she examined it and gave a thumbs up confirming the approval of the item.
Eventually, they had all finished the practical and it was time to go meet Ivy.
"So I'll be needing salt and a plant called siberie, you can find it in the school cafeteria, I'll be needing five of it". Ivy explained.
Soon Xadia left to get the ingredients and in a few minutes, he was back.
"So fast!!" Ivy exclaimed.
After the fight with Tyson and the absorption of energy from Tyson's familiar, Xadia deduced that his power was related to siphon energy absorption as he had gotten faster from the energy he had absorbed, he was running at a fast pace as the energy had fortified his agility and speed, making it that he had return quickly with the ingredients.
Taking the ingredients Ivy then did the same procedure they had learned in class, she used simple distillation to separate the properties of the plant into a liquid form, she then poured the liquid into the amulet, and closing it she held the string of the necklace and began the spell.
"Supprexia xrevedis etc lixia"
Ivy's hand began to glow blue and after repeating five times, the amulet reacted to the spell glowing a bright blue.
"Here it's done"
"Thank you, I'll give it to Tyson as soon as I see him". Xadia assured.
And with that xadia headed for the dorm, opening the door to his room, Xadia's eyes widened, there was no one in the room.
"No, don't tell me?".
