"See father, there is no one here, just me. Before you barged into my room, I was heavily asleep and I would like to return to it." Her eyes wandered around the room while she spoke to her father. There was no sign of Gabriel and the wooden window was tightly shut.
There was no way he would have left the room.
Still, her father was unconvinced as the room looked suspicious. If she was asleep as she had claimed, then, why was her bed flawlessly arranged? He could also perceive another scent– one that should be possessed by the heavens.
This brought a crease to his forehead as he began to approach his daughter's bathroom. Again, Jasmine bit her lips in fear and anticipation. Yeah, that was right. If Gabriel couldn't be seen in the room, the bathroom was the only reasonable place left to hide.
Her father gazes at her one last glance before opening the door to the bathroom in a rush. In the next moment, his frown got more ugly than the view before him.
