Her eyes showed nothing but fear. If I didn't know better, I would have thought that we were under attack but who would dare attack Dav in human territory?
My sleep was immediately thrown to the trash bin as I say upright, throwing to her my gaze of confusion.
"My princess, it's sir Gabriel, he is almost at the house!." Those were rang in my ears even louder than the noisiest drum.

Wasn't he the same vampire that Xander has talked about? How did he find this place? Was he really going to fight Dav in Xander's home? Didn't Xander say that Gabriel won't show his face now?
