The whole day became utterly quiet, Xander had asked one of the maidservants to place Agatha in a room while I dwelled in my assigned room.
Well, I guess Dav took my words seriously. It was pitch black and he hadn't shown his face in the room since our last meal. I tried going on a search for him but was stopped when a maid told me Dav had requested a separate room.
Did it hurt me? Yes, it did!
Will I go to him to ask that he comes back? No, I will not! He needed to learn that his frustration was getting the best of him.
Fortunately for me, Seth hadn't bothered to fill in for Dav. In fact, I had also not set my eyes on him after I left the dining hall and I had to admit, it finally gave me peace of mind. I didn't have to worry about laying on the bed with my husband's brother or having to witness another brute between both brothers.
