Just like a son obeying his father's command, Seth moved further away from Dav but not without showing how displeased he was.
But that was not what he wanted Seth to do, he wanted Seth to leave the room. To achieve that, he also had to throw another deadly glance. Seth understood the message and hesitantly walked out of the room. He gave Eliza one last glance before he left.
Left alone with Dav in the room, Eliza's heart could only race at an accelerated speed. There were a lot of emotions in the air which she was sure that Dav could also feel.
His glare said it all. She knew that he had wanted to say something but probably didn't know how to get along with it. She decided to break the awkward silence by trying to blurt out a word… anything…. maybe it could be a word of apology, as long the silence would be broken.
She opened her mouth and then closed it back.
