Confused, I got closer to him, only to be cursed with the sharp smell of… alcohol? Dav can take in alcohol? The one thing I was very certain about vampires was the fact that their bodies can't process anything that isn't meat and blood which they considered as wine.
But there Dav was, filled with the wretched smell of alcohol.
"Dav, what are you doing, where did you go?" I asked again but instead of an answer, he wrapped one of his hands around my waist and drew me closer to himself, giving me more access to that suffocating smell that leaked from his body and mouth.
from what I saw, he was still sane but I could feel that something was wrong with him but what? Was the alcohol that powerful to alter Dav's energy?
