Without a second thought, I rushed out of the bed. Thanks to the stars that he didn't oppose my action.
I have grown tired of his attitude. I needed space from him. Why can't he just treat me the same way a brother-in-law should treat his sister-in-law? Why does he have to act weird all the time?
"Leave, Seth. Please. Can't you just stay away from me, at least for a day?" I uttered without realizing that my voice was raised but it was too late to take back the tone of my voice.
The next second, Seth zeroed his gaze on me. He seemed displeased by what I had said but so far, he didn't utter a word to me. Instead, he wordlessly got down from the bed, gave me one last glance, and walked out of the room.
Sigh. This was what I wanted- for him to leave me alone but why do I feel guilty? Was I even supposed to feel guilty? His action was wrong and I did what was supposed to have been done a long time ago.
