Well, I didn't expect that from Dav but yes, I will always fight for us. I still don't know why he was so worked up about this. I haven't felt the effect of the 'mistake' mark and I don't think I would ever feel the effect.
To ease the situation, I assured Dav of what he so much wanted to hear, at least, he had changed his mind of taking me away from the house, that is the least I could do.
He let go of me and now, his smile was back. He took my hand to his face and kissed the back of my palm.
