In one swoop, Seth took her off the floor and carried her in a bridal style, thereby ignoring the question she had asked.
Eliza could only sigh, sooner or later, she was sure that she would spill it.

Again, she sighed. She saw no reason for arguing with him, she was totally in complete disagreement with him because she had known Seth as someone who would always do what he wants, whether anyone likes it or not.
