He was also surprised by the fact that his brother hadn't seen the mark on Eliza's neck. He had seen his brother with a female and how he treated them when they were being intimate. Dav would always act like a beast and sometimes, make the female pass out.
Seeing that Dav has not noticed the mark on Eliza's neck even after having a slight intimacy with her, means Dav was really hiding his demons away from her and that could only make Seth frown.
Dav was supposed to show Eliza every part of him, the good and bad sides, then he would try to convince Eliza to adapt to his imperfection.
