His actions were quite shocking. It hasn't been more than five minutes since he took her to their room and here he was, about to leave her for the vampire castle. Yes, he said he would be from henceforth, be distant from her but she didn't expect it to be this soon.
Dav could only sigh. This was the hardest part of this whole scenario. Of course, he wanted to be with her, to hold her tight even if it meant denying her of her breathing space but there was no time for that.
All this he did was for her safety. He hated the fact that they were not hiding in the hidden Gretha which was a safe haven for banished vampires.
